Little Wing tells the story of 12-year-old Varpu (Linnea Skog), who's quickly growing to adulthood, and about her mother (Paula Vesala), who doesn't want to grow up. Varpu lives with her mother and has never met her father. One night Varpu has enough of her riding buddies and her mother. She steals a car and drives up north in search of her father, of whom she only knows the name. But her father is not exactly what she had expected. Meeting him trigger something in Varpu and Siru's life, making them realize their role in each other's lives, and in the world.
故事发生在一个支离破碎的家庭之中，珍亚（玛丽安娜·斯皮瓦克 Maryana Spivak 饰）和鲍里斯（阿列克谢·罗津 Aleksey Rozin 饰）结婚多年，时间和无休无止的争吵早就磨光了两人对于彼此仅存的感情，是这个家庭走到了分裂的边缘，不仅如此，这两人都在外面找到了新的伴侣，这更加速了这个家庭消亡的进度。 珍亚和鲍里斯两人有一个12岁的儿子阿廖沙（马特威·诺维科夫 Matvey Novikov 饰），都想要投奔自由生活的两人都不愿意继承阿廖沙的抚养权，为了儿子的归属问题，夫妻两人又再度陷入了无止尽的骂战之中。就在这场战争进行到白热化的境地时，阿廖沙失踪了，作为他唯二的监护人，珍亚和鲍里斯开始意识到，他们必须收起各自的武器，共同寻找这个孩子。
