《中国医生战疫版》以时间线为推进，记录从新冠疫情爆发到四月底医疗队凯旋期间在武汉的医护群体的抗疫故事，深度跟踪拍摄武汉4家医院，8个医疗队，30多名医护，20余名病人，启动8个摄制组，60天的不间断记录，通过对医护人员形象的塑造和纪实拍摄，以抗击疫情的专家、医生、护士的故事为核心，从各维度讲述硬核医疗，并结合多种病患案例展示的温情故事。 本纪录片充分表达了“我们对医生职业的尊重，在于他们代表了人类用知识和科学去对抗自身的无常与脆弱的希望之光”和 “疾病不应该把人们分开，恰恰相反，它应该为人类相爱提供机会”的温情，同时以点带面，将当地四家医院及其支援武汉的医疗队作为武汉抗击疫情的一个缩影，全景式呈现中国特色的超级医疗救治体系在抗击疫情中所发挥的巨大作用，传递这一体系的高效运转、社会凝聚力量和正能量价值。

In the early 1920s, Georges Laffont (Romain Duris), traumatised by the horrific trench warfar, decides to leave his life behind and travel to West Africa into the vast territories of Upper Volta in the company of Diofo, artist and also survivor of the Great War.
